Shipping Policy
CamoCat Surplus ships all orders directly from our location in the Netherlands, EU. All items shown on this website are stocked in our local warehouse and are shipped from there. We do not use dropshipping.
Carriers
Our main postal carrier is PostNL. Once the package arrives in your country, it is handled by the local postal service.
Locations:
At this time, we ship to more than 40 countries including the EU countries, US, Canada, Japan, Singapore as well as other Asian and American markets. If you don’t see shipping options at checkout, it means we don’t currently ship to your country. We’re sorry for the inconvenience and hope to expand our shipping zones soon.
IMPORTANT UPDATE:
Shipping to the United States
All orders to the U.S. are shipped with PostNL. Estimated import duties and taxes are included in the shipping fee. PostNL handles customs clearance and pays any import charges on our behalf.
Although U.S. customers are normally not charged any additional fees on delivery, U.S. Customs may, at their discretion, apply unexpected import charges, request additional information, or delay clearance. We are not responsible for such charges, delays, or for parcels held or returned by customs.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that customs procedures are outside our control and that we are not liable for additional costs or delays once the parcel has been handed over to PostNL.
Update January 15th, 2026:
I’ve had to increase shipping prices for U.S. orders as PostNL has increased the fees they charge me for shipping parcels to the U.S., including additional customs and handling costs.
Because of this, the shipping price shown at checkout for U.S. customers is now a bit higher for both small parcels (up to 2 kg) and larger parcels (up to 5 kg). The amount charged helps cover the actual shipping cost plus these extra fees.
If these fees are reduced or removed in the future and PostNL stops applying the additional charges, I will adjust shipping prices back down accordingly.
Processing time
Orders are usually dispatched within 24–48 hours after purchase (business days only). In exceptional cases, such as holidays or temporary absences, processing times may be longer. Any such delays will be clearly indicated on our website, usually on homepage.
Shipping costs
Shipping rates are based on weight categories:
0–2 kg
2–5 kg.
Please note that sending a single small item often costs the same as sending multiple items in one package.
Estimated delivery times
Within the EU: 1–21 business days
North America: 7–21 business days
South America: 10–28 business days
Australia: 10 –16 business days
Asia: 10 –21 business days
These are estimates only and not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to postal service disruptions, customs processing, or other factors beyond our control.
We are not responsible for delays or failed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the buyer. If a parcel is returned to us, we will either offer reshipment at the buyer’s expense or refund the order minus shipping costs.
Customs & import taxes
If you order from outside the European Union, your package may be subject to import duties, taxes, and handling fees as determined by your country’s regulations. These costs are the responsibility of the customer.
