French lizard is one of the most famous camo patterns of the 20th century, and also one that has so many variants still going around! The lizard uniforms were used initially during the Algerian War (1954-1962), but the use continued well after the period. This specific item is dated from 1977 as per label inside.
Condition: Issued, but very good. Might have some small imperfections being so old, but colors are still very vibrand and it's well preserved item overall.

About the insignia, I am not sure what exactly it means. I'll leave that to more experienced collectors.
