Produced for Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces) from the mid-1960s, this jacket is a great of example of Schneetarn -snow camouflage- that is very effective in the mountains.
The jacket is made of light fabric and it's intended to be worn over thicker and warmer layers, just to provide camouflage and not per se to make you warm. A cool feature this jacket has is that there is one front chest pocket, and another same one on the inside, both with buttons. The main zipper works as usual, and overall the item is in a very good condition. The only sign of use are a few grey stains around the pocket or on lower part near the hem.

Oversized small: pit to pit 60 cm, collar to hem 76 cm and sleeve 58cm.
