This item is a perfect example of a vertical lizard pattern, used by the Portuguese army from mid '60s to '90s, when they adapted a DPM variant. The colors of Portuguese lizard items are very interesting, as they present way darker shades than other lizard patterns, such as Greek or French lizard.
This specific item is quite old but in amazing condition, with very bright colors. I assume it was stored for a long not and not really used by its previous owner.
