Everyone knows about the modern Portuguese lizard with vertical stripes, but this OG version that was developed in mid 1950s is way less known and harder to find on the market. It features thick brown stripes on almost mint green background, and it's pretty different from the later, well-known lizard version.
These uniforms were mostly used by Portuguese paratroopers in Africa all the way into 1990s. Still, as most uniforms were probably lost or destroyed, this is a very rare item for surp collectors today!
I have one jacket for sale, and it even comes with patches! They are already rare in general, but I've never before seen one with patches as well. So, this one is a gem and I don't think I'll restock this pattern any time soon...
