Now this is a real piece of history right here! During the Balkan wars in the 90s, fighters on all sides often improvised their own load bearing gear due to shortages of standard equipment. A common solution was to cut up Yugoslav Army M68 MOL camouflage tent halves.
Fighters would sew this fabric themselves into simple chest rigs or bearing vests with pockets for AK magazines and grenades. These homemade rigs varied widely in design but became a recognizable piece of field gear during the early years of the conflict, and in the photos provided the rough and uneven stitching clearly suggests they were homemade, and often in a hurry.
Sizing:
Pit to pit measures about 55cm, and collar to hem 65cm.
